It was pretty wild how they portrayed Candance. As the other commenter said, we saw it through Joe’s perspective. But there was room to imply how she was being portrayed in the wrong light.

I mean.. she was buried alive. What a tragic ending for someone that went through horrific abuse.

I was hooked the whole season but the entire show has so much damaging potential for the young female psyche. When you’re impressionable and young, it’s hard to understand that even when things are “good” with Joe and Beck/Love, they’re not.
